Don't....

“Love you,” I whispered, feeling this helplessness strangle me into silence.

“I won’t let go” I gasped,
while it ripped you away from my hands.

“Don’t give up” I cried, as you cowered in the dark corner.

“I won’t leave you!” I screamed, when God split us apart.

“Don’t leave me... “ I mouthed, and the void swallowed the space where you had just been.

.Waiting.I’ve waited.
All day, every day, breathing in, breathing out.

I’ve waited for you even when I didn’t know I was waiting, when I was young and didn’t care and boys were strange unreachable beings, creatures of mystery and untouchable.

I’ve waited through all my girlish crushes, my inability to speak, my perpetual weakness to open my mouth, my romantic dream stirring my heart to places that were crushed whenever reality never measured up.

I’ve waited, as the shy girl, the quiet one in the corner, with open eyes, waiting so desperat .Waiting.

Little things....Little things, the hug, the hand on the shoulder, the smile, the interest,
the questions that draw my heart out.

These are the things that I remember the most.
Not necessarily the words you spoke, but that you spoke at all, that you noticed I was here waiting for you.

I’m not that brave. I need you to be brave for me, to offer your hand to me, because I’m so ready to take it, I just don’t know how to reach out for you, or to open my mouth and ask.

So, keep doing those little things, those beautiful lit Little things....

Something about Europe....

Listening to: My mind going in circles

Dear DA, I am still alive...I think.

What with a NaNoWriMo novel that hasn't been touched in a week, doing theatre again, and freaking about May 2010, I'm doing great.

No, but life is good. Hopefully in May, I will traipsing about Europe studying the Holocaust. My former University is taking this trip, and I can go even though I'm not a student.

But I'm already freaking out. All those little details, and I've never done it before....passports etc....its six months away and I'm stressing over it like crazy already.

I'm trying to slow down, breath, and trust....and hold on to the belief that this trip can happen....and that everything will fall into place.

So that is the big news in my life.

As for my NaNoWriMo novel, I want to finish it someday, whether or not it happens this month. I have found myself really loving this story-writing thing, and I never thought I would.

Funny that....funny all those things you never thought you would or could do.....
